mhadford's 2000 Nissan Maxima Stock 5th Gen Max photo. My car is a 2000 SE Canadian edition, with 5 speed trans, viscous limited slip differential, leather seats, bose stereo, etc. My only appearance modification is a nose bra to cover rock chips. Other than that, it is all about performance. I bought it in 2003 intending to do a supercharger install, i just had to wait for the warranty to expire...And to get some cabbage!

mhadford's 2000 Nissan Maxima October 2004: Warranty is done! Me & my Vortech V2

mhadford's 2000 Nissan Maxima with Ptatohed's instructions in hand and my brother to help (shown here) we are ready to start! If doing a supercharger install, be sure to get Ptatohed (Josh Froman's) install guide from Maxima.org. His instructions clearly say that you must take pictures of yourselves with your Vortech, sporting a goofy grin!

Performance Mods: Vortech V2 SC, 2.95" pulley (12psi), Warpseed Y pipe, Budget str8 pipe & B pipe, Cattman SS exhaust, NGK Iridium plugs, Centerforce dual friction clutch, Dynojet Wideband Commander A/F monitor system, Autometer fp & boost gauges Suspension:Tokico Illuminas, Progress springs, Progress RSB, FSB, Michelin Pilot A/S; Pilot Alpin
Brakes: Goodrich Stainless lines, Brembo rotors, stock calipers Appearance:LeBra, Ten-dollar Canadian Tire plastic wheelcovers on steel wheels for the winter. Looks like ass.On the bench: Walbro fp, energy suspension bushings and engine mounts, cartech fmu, SARD FPR, E-manage, RC 440cc injectors, PWR air/water intercooler

My horsepower number is just a guess of what it should be making at the flywheel. Haven't dyno'd since increasing boost to 12 psi - I'm tuning with wideband AF. Should be about 380 hp at the flywheel and 320 at the drive wheels.

to the dude below me.. u make it seem like its hard to get mid 13s on a maxima.. im surpriced he isnt on the low 13 to high 12 area... looks like you have to do some research on maximas to kno its not rare to see a max owner in those 1/4 times in the max community

Thanks for checking my car out. Glad you found my How_to section useful. Nice job on your car. I have seen some of your pics on the org before. By the way I am selling the car if you know anyone that you could send by my site, Thanks.
