DIY
Little DIY action *Replacing Bushings (Lower A Arm)*

Okay well this wasnt an easy task, considering i dont have a press to pop things in and out, so i did it the handy mans way. With a little brain power, some steel, a couple nuts and bolts, A saw, a hammer and 2 wrenches this took almost no time at all.

The first task was removing the bushing from the A Arm (sorry i dont have a befor picture, But what i did was... Frist *if you must nock the center out of the bushing* I dint have to nock it out cause mine was just that torn.

Take a saw and cut threw most of the way in 2 spots about the with of a screw driver *not all the way so you dont score the a arm and make it hard to put a new one in.* Then took a hammer and chizzle and worked the metal, so that it would peal back away from the arm, untill it was completely off. Like so:

Next was the fun part coming up with a contraption that would press the new bushing into the A-Arm. So what i did was take 4 peices of steel *but a 1/4 inch thick* and put 2 underneith the arm and to above. Then ran 4 bolts trew the peices of steel so it looked like so.

Then i began to tighten in a cross pattern ie:1,3,2,4 and as i ran out of thread on the bolts, would back it off and add washers *or other objects*

I continued this untill i had compressed the bushing flush with the a-arm.

Didnt take to much just a little thought.
