This is my 1972 oldsmobile cutlass. The body does need work I got new 1/4s for it. The passenger side 1/4 is brand new and the driver one is off of a parts car that I had at one time.
Heres a pic of my 1/4
It is not currently put together at this moment because my engine froze up so I pulled it and put it in the shop. So I took the dog house off. The roof needs some work as well The roof has little dents all over it. Im about to sandblast it and put it in ethcing primer for a while. The car is currently in black primer. I am about to pull the car out of the garage and sand down the bad parts and then put like 2 coats of grey primer on it. And then put like 2 coats of black primer and then maybe put a coat of clear coat on it because Its gonna be a while before I paint it because im gonna be flat broke after I build my engine. Both bumpers are in good condition put do not have crome on them Im gonna paint the black so Im just gonna paint the bumpers black as well. I personally thing black cutlass's with painted bumpers look better than crome ones. It current has 15x10 cragar S/S's on the rear wraped up in some 295/50/15 cooper cobras. On the front I have 15x6 cragar S/S's on the front wraped up in some 195/60/15s. Which I think may be to small for my taste They arent that tall and Im thinking it may look funny on my cutlass not sure yet havent seen them on with the whole dog house on before. As for the Exterior plans I plan on painting it a glossy black get a W-25 spoiler and a 4" cowl induction hood. I may get a whole fiberglass hood from us body source. or get a steel scoop and weld it on a stock hood. I plan on taking it out of the garage real soon and put redo the primer job and put it completley together I still gotta try to align the driver door so I can put the dog house on. I cant wait to finally see what the whole thing looks like together.
out of the 4 years Ive own it I have never had the whole car together at one time.
This is the way the rear of the car currently looks
