Got my 1997 Formula in May 2000,with 64,819 miles on her.The color is called Mystic Tearl Pearl or Chamilion green, as it changes colors in the sun. She was as stock as they came. She now has 167,000 on her as she was my daily driver through most of college. Now she's just a weekend car. Best 1/4 time since March 04 was a 13.76@102 mph. New times will be posted soon, new dyno numbers are 285/311 with tuning as of 1/05/05.

Mods that have currently been done over the last couple of years are:
Sub-frame conectors-SLP, Strut Tower Brace-SLP, Elec. Water Pump, NGK-TR55 plugs, MSD wires, X-pipe exhaust, LS1 style cold air intake, 2.73 gears to 3.42's.
BMR lower control arms, Aluminum drive shaft. Pace setter headers, y-pipe, Ported throttle body, Yank 3000 stall converter, tranny cooler, LS1 tail lights, replaced tan interior with charcoal leather, also got rid of the nasty strip that was on the sides of the car. Got the car re-painted in July 06.

Looks like I need to go internal to gain more horse power. Barrowed a friends Nitto's for a new best of 13.60 @102 mph with a 2.1 60ft. The car has more in her, I'm still having slight traction issues, but no where near as bad when the street tires are on it.

5/24/09 - Update I did end up getting the motor built last year,  as I have always wanted to from day 1 of getting the car. The builder told me after tearing the motor down that one of the cam bareings was worn down to the cam lobe, so sooner or later I would have had oil pressure issues develop. The motor was tired and I knew that. I decided to go with a 383 LT4 set up, found a good deal on ported heads/intake from a friend for a good price. Did some reasearch to make sure the cam would completment the heads for the most hp gain. The cam specs are 236/248 570/571 108.5 LSA. Pretty nasty cam and the car really demands the attention. I went with 4 bolt splayed mains, as to make the bottom end bullet proof. I went with a 58mm throttle body, 85mm ZO6 MAF, Comp Cams 1.6 RR's, Chrome Molley push rods, Double roller timing set, Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator, under drive crank pulley, new oil pump, 36lb injectors, new opti, LS1 CAI, Walboro fuel pump, CTS-V lifters. I'm sure I left a few things out, but I'll post mor later. The tuner put a drivability tune on the car, so right now I'm driving around for breakin mileage. The dyno tune will be soon.
