This is the beginning. I got the car for free, off the side of the road, from a guy that was moving. It didn't have a title, when I looked in the glove box, I took the name and address off the registration. I found the previous owner. After selling the car five years prior, she still had the title.I am starting to make head way on the front end, to start. I will soon have more pictures.I have lots of parts and accessories, that I'm putting on this car, so stay tuned.mnstrcarlo's 1983 Chevrolet Monte Carlomnstrcarlo's 1983 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

I am missing some of the pictures before this one. I will get them on as soon as I find them, but for now, I like what I've done so far. With cleaning and painting the frame and fire wall. Hope you do too!!

wow! nice monte! looks like you meticulously detailed the front-end and engine. I love the G-body's style. like the late '70's and early '80's cars, they are beginning to have a look that separated them from all the look-a-like cars of today. it doesn't matter what new model it is--or what it costs--they all look the same. I've seen Maseratis and Subarus that give me the same feeling of ennui

You make it look like there's nothing to it, but that would be more work than I could put in. I like everything You've done, but the front bumper killed it...now it just looks like a Bonneville or some other 80's boat.

good progress on the mc, what did that chrome bumper come off of? i'm guessing you'll have to fabricate something to fill those gaps buts its definitely a nice custom touch. keep up the good work and check out my monte.

Hey! I was looking for the same way to work on my cars!!!

(it's B S I no longer can in this apt building, where I have 5 cars.I makes me go stir crazy if I can't do something)

what strucure is that?

oh, and nice-looking engine. what are its spec's?

Looks like you do most of the work. I do for he most part, but I am not a painter/bodyman.

Keep he '70's/80's cars alive!
