***** New update pics on page 4 ****
Here are a couple of pictures of my 1982 Chevrolet El Camino. This Elco was converted to a 1987 by changing out the front and rear bumpers, the doors and the dash. It has a 1989 Tune Port Injection IROC engine, 700R4 transmission, and Iroc computer. The engine compartment is still in work but includes, chromed valve covers, alternator, water pump, Iroc plenum, runners, throttle body, master cylinder, and a few others to name a few. More to come.
The interior was completely redone with tan leather and dark brown carpet. The gold plated spoke Nardi steering wheel compliments the chrome and gold plated brake and accelerator pedals.
In the music department this Elco boasts 3 Rockford Fosgate amplifiers, 1 Capacitor, 4 JL Audio 10" woofers, 2 mid bass, two midrange, 2 pioneer 6X9s, and 2 sets of tweets with an audio control equilizer and EPIC 150. Some of you might recall the Audio Control Epicenter. The EPIC 150 replaced it and it is worth the every penny. This system sounds absolutely phenomenal as does the custom work performed by my boys from Audio Xplosion in La Puente California (Where else?). Audio Xplosion is home of my dog Gilbert and Dr. Boom. Mad props Henry!
These guys have hooked up systems in all of my vehicles. To date, the Elco gives one of my rides a real run for the money in spite of the fact that ride is pushing 3 12" JL Audio subs and focal mids and tweets. We'll save that for another page. Stop in and take a look.
