The first time I saw this was on eBay and I thought, "Hey, that's a really nice Vega." When I went to the Goodguys Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, I recognized it from across the parking lot (I even took some pictures). Seeing it in person is so much different; it's easier to see what was done to it and how much work and effort went into the car. Is it still for sale? I've been on the lookout for another Vega and your's is one of the nicer specimens I've seen.
