Update. Febuary the 3rd 2005.

Saturday January 29th saw the engine dropped back into the truck. Whoo hoo. But I ran into some unexpected issues. Alternator brackets. I am missing both of them, as well as my shifter. I was able to get a shifter the same day. Now I just have to modify it a little bit to get it to fit and work correctly.

This is where the engine belongs... In the aptly named engine bay. The Engine will get lonely in the Truck bed !.

This page is going to be dedicated to my 1989 B2200 5spd Se-5 Cab Plus.

The truck was bought brand new from the dealer by my Grandpas ex-wife with just seven miles on it. A few years later she sold it to my Grandpa for $2000. Well my Grandpa drove it until the engine went out and it was time for a rebuild. Well between beers him and his friends got the engine rebuilt and ready to be dropepd back into the truck. He also bought all the extras that he needed extra side view mirror, carb, etc. So this engine was ready to drop in just when he got a hoist to do it with... Well My Grandpa passed away October 27th of 2004. In the diving up between five kids of all of his stuff we came across the title to this old truck. Since the engine was not in it none of the kids wanted the hassle... But I stepped up and started asking about it. Well it came to pass that the truck was given to me to restore, drive, and enjoy.
