orangebowtie's 1990 Chevrolet Silverado

This is my 1990 Chevy Stepside. I bought this truck from my friend after he rolled it over. Took about 3 years to build but was definitely worth it. Feel free to sign my guestbook and tell me what you think.

I currenty blew my transmission(700-R4) Upgraded to a 4L-60E transmission from a 1996 tahoe. Used the 96 tahoe intake manifold and converted the wiring so my truck has a true Vortec 350. Also, upgraded to the 96 dash.
It is so much better with the Vortec..
Pics of the swap are on the last 3 pages.

Best stepside I have seen in a long time. I have a 1993 stepside and am in the process of personalizing it to me. Since I live on a hill out in the sticks. I have lowered my truck 4 inches.I like the look of it better and seems cooler riding. I amm using your truck for ideas. Thanks for a great project and picture show.
