This car was featured as the centerfold in the March 2006 issue of Chevy High Performance. You can view this article at this link

The same article was displayed in the 2006 Super Chevy's "Nova, Chevy's little Classic" year book. The opening shot is also used in the index page.
The car is as the article portrays except the shortblock. It has been upgraded to a DART little M block, Scat 9000 crank Scat ProComp 4340 Forged I beams with 7/16" arp Cap screws. Speedpro Forged Pistons, and speedpro file-fit ring set. Balanced at J&M Machine in El Monte, Ca.
Here are some progress pictures relating to the suspension upgrades.

The rear suspension is a ladderbar/coilover combination with a panard bar for alignment control. It hooks up nicely. Since the photos, the components have been painted with Epoxy base paint for durability. Sheet metal has light painable undercoat for sound control.
Front suspension is a strut style design with threaded body sleaves and camber/caster plates for the ultimate adjusability. Sway is handled by a spline end swaybar system from the circle track racing industry. It comes with three bars for added adjustability. The car drives very nicely.
