First of all, I know what everybody must be thinking.......WHY O WHY!! put a toyota engine into a Porsche......a POrsche without porsche engine....is no porsche.....well.... it?s a very loooooong story....but here is the shortest version I can came out with... When I bought this car, it has no engine on it, had the trans, nice interior, but, no engine....so I started looking for the original one....but...imposible to find..any way...after 3 years of having the car storage...I decide to go for the engine swap, and the Toyota Supra MKIII limited edition 1JZ-gte Twin turbo seemed to be the right choice...any way.....here are some pics of the mods that had to be made...

WardoC's 1986 Porsche 944 W a pain in the ass.....all those...are the engine wiring harness...wich need to be fitted into the 944 engine compartment...weird...

WardoC's 1986 Porsche 944 Here was the firts problem...the engine was too high.. so.. the front train has to be moved vertically... un-safety..but effective

WardoC's 1986 Porsche 944 here the matching of the pressure disc with the engine flywheel...another problem...the disc broke 2 times while testing the car.

WardoC's 1986 Porsche 944 adaptation completed...but...the pilot bearing is broken so I need to replace it now...

what every one wanted to see...the engine fitting... W a pain in the ass... really! another problem... the admision crashed with the brakes booster....solution...bye bye brakes...for now...

damn you are really going into unchartered grounds with this one, but not such a bad idea, im thinking of either buying a 944 turbo or something along the engine swap line, keep up the good work and come check out my 944 sometime
