Hi, this is my Alfa Romeo 75 V6 3.0 Potenziata; all the way from Australia. It's my 4th Alfa (and I am unashamed to say: I still have the other 3). The Potenziata was a special edition 3.0 V6 that came to Australia in limited numbers. It had approximately 10kw (~15 hp) extra power than the standard 3 litre and a special darker interior trim. Externally, one could only identify the Potenziata by a small clover leaf badge on the boot lid. This car came fully equipped with every option that was offered in the Australian market... including the electric sunroof. The car has done 170K (~ 91K miles) but it runs like new. I spoil her with a service every 5000km (approx 2700 miles) and only use permium fuel and good quality lubricants. The extra costs are worth it in giving me an extremely reliable car.

.
Performance modifications to this car were limited to a set of performance extractors/headers and a full 2&3/4" stainless steel sports exhaust system, Koni shocks and those gorgeous 17" Italian wheels with 215x45 'Z'rated Goodyear F1 rubber. The Extractors and the exhaust system increased power by about 15%, but the real bonus is that beautiful throaty Alfa V6 sound...pure heaven.
The interior is standard factory except for the leather MOMO steering wheel & gear knob and the upgraded Kenwood 10 CD stacker sound system and speakers.
Some nice guy in a delivery van side swiped me so I used the opportunity to fix a few dints and give the car a full respray.

You can see my old 15" Simmons mags. They are a 3 piece wheel with Pirelli tyres. The mags cost me a fortune and still looked good, but after having them for more than 6 years, I was ready for a change. The wheels now adorn my GTV6.

The car was painted in the original colour with a hint of pearl added and I colour coded the moulds, bumper bars and mirrors.
.
I also had the rear lights reconditioned, polished and had the indicator and reverse light lenses tinted a slight reddish colour. I think it looks better than the standard lights and gives the car a more modern look.

The only other trick mod that I installed, is the remote alarm/immobiliser system. Apart from the usual stuff like locking and unlocking the doors and boot/trunk lid, I had mine equipped with a shut feature that closes all the windows automatically when the driver's door is locked.

Other Mods that are in the pipe line (probably when they start to fail) will include; performance brakes, electric water pump, sports springs and re-trim of the interior.

Thanks for looking at my Alfa. Hope you like it and I look forward to reading your feedback!!! With a little luck and a whole lot of money, I hope to be able to show you my GTV6 in the near future. Cheers
