I was content with this setup for a little while and I was glad I was starting to separate my civic from the other 60 million on the road but I still had a ways to go. In the aftermath of the release of "The Fast and the Furious" I was tempted to throw a For Sale sign across the window, because of the sudden popularity of hondas, particularly civics...but I stuck it out since i had gotten really attached to her and had already invested time and money in my project.
At the time I was kinda in the show scene, so I wanted no body lines and a clean look, so before i decided to add anything else, I wanted to shave the body and whatever else I could without going overboard since this was after all my daily transportation. This phase of the project took close to a year for me to complete and I wouldn't have without the help of fellow club members and friends to help me pull this off. I shaved body trim moldings, the trunk tail lights, license plate box and all emblems, the hood washer squirters and the antenna. A repaint and new 17" Enkei MM2's and she was ready for another season.
