This was finally sold back in 05' but I'll keep this as a tribute of how I had this set up back then and how my taste and sense of styling has (or hasn't) changed since 1999. Check my profile for my most recent projects or POS. :)
Bought in Oct of 1999 this was my 2nd choice as I was unable to purchase a sixth generation hatch. Aside from the tinted rear windows and the non-working stereo, it was bone stock. 
I knew before I bought this car how i wanted it to look but I didn't have a plan to go about it since my sense of styles change constantly.
One of the first "real" mods i did was lowering the suspension by means of a set of sprint springs. This was good for a 2.25" drop and combined with a front strut bar really improved the handling.
Next to follow were the 16" Enkei RSE's which I found used and got a good deal on. Next was a touring style spoiler I found (Hey! at the time I thought it looked cool) which was just for appearance.
After having that installed it seemed like I was starting to make a little progress.
