I bought this car in March 2003 in a local junkyard. I wanted one when they first came out in 1990, but they were all sold and the dealership told me not to expect anymore. Not many of these were made, as we all know that love them. I settled for a base model '91 Geo Storm that I loved, but my heart still wanted that Impulse. Here she is sitting in the salvage yard.
When I bought it the body was straight with minor body work needed, and a blown engine (oil everywhere!). After paint, engine replacement, engine performance mods, custom interior painting, spoiler and new wheels and tires, here's what she looks like now!
Next stop - lowering coilovers next week and window tinting next year.
