engine & performance
1.8 single cam 8v
removed EFI and replaced with webber 2bbl carb(32/36 DFAV) and intake.G60 cam with 2 degrees advance timing (on the cam)
removed stock downpipe and replaced with s&s longtube headers into a 3 inch test pipe, then from there back into sniper(not sure of the name) vr6 aftermarket exhuast
looks & handling
WAS: droped up front on a set of omp lowering springs and a set of spring compressers with kyb gr2 struts,out back is a set of tokiko struts with nuespeed race springs.
NOW: full set of nuespeed race springs
rear drum brakes removed and replaced with GLI disc brake setup
aero lights grill and radiator support removed and replaced with 16v quad light grill and 8v lip replaced with 16v lip
just got a new set of rims from a friend pics will be up soon
other mods short shifter,sachs sport clutch,gti steering wheel,dual radiator fans from 96 jetta,vr6 cat back and a set of S&S Headers
****UPDATE****
the car has had alot of things changed latly and i have not had time to update this but now that i am i will ist whats new.
the cluch has been replaced with a cheap-o-depot advance autoparts clutch and i installed a transmission i got from a friend that has had the gear ratio changed the 5th gear is larger then factory instead of being at 6000 rpm's at 105 mph it's at 3300 rpm's at 105 and this is a good thing on the highway! car now has a corrado steering wheel new set of 16 inch wheels,new system,removed power steering and i'm in the process of installing a manual steering rack soon also installed a gli wing
