TOMongous's 1970 Ford Maverick

This is the car last summer (above).

This is my inspiration for the car... (above).

as we were restoring the DENTED TO HELL AND BACK exterior. I'll build mine without the blower :-(

EVEN MORE pics are going to be added soon. This was my first car, but it didn't look like this when I got it. It had a vinyl top on it and a bunch of dents and many parts now on the car weren't on it -- they were given to me by the previous owner who lived in Louisville, OH -- we're wanting to get ahold of him.

This car has the 250CI I6 which was the biggest engine option for 1970... it also has factory AC which is somewhat rare.

The paint is custom and was applied by Larry; thanks Larry.

The interior has the best sounding 2-speaker system ever. It has a 52x4-watt Sony CD MP3 player with 6x9 Pioneers in the back. Lowrider gets played alot -- along with Led Zeppelin and other great driving music. I've also installed white guage overlays that I got from WhiteGuageGuy@aol.com -- these really go along with my paint job.

My Dad has fully modified the carb. and has also installed a 3.55 gear which helps the old 250-I6 get moving faster.

It's a bunch of fun in the summers and I take it to at least one show a year.

A new grille soon?

Man! You put a Blower in that Joker and its gonna SCREAM! Better have some extra shorts handy first time you hit the gas. The HP to weight ratio......dont ever want to think about that one.... Lter. Lloyd
