Hughes Engines stroker kit with 10.5:1 static compression ratio.

Rotating assembly internally balanced by Hughes.
Clevite Rod & Main Bearings

Wiseco Flat-Top 4.030” Bore pistons

Main journals line bored.
Oil passages opened up significantly, as well as other oiling modifications that allow the engine to operate under extreme conditions for extended periods.

Modified 340 windage tray, baffleled “stock type” oil pan, Remote HP6 filter and 3 qt Accusump.

Ten quart oil capacity.
Edelbrock heads

MOPAR 509 cam

Comp Cams roller rockers

Edelbrock Airgap intake port matched to heads

Edelbrock 750 carb.

Electric fuel pump

Ignition - Mopar distributor kit with Mopar Orange ignition box.

 

Drivetrain

A833 4 speed with Hurst shifter, Centerforce pressure plate and dual friction clutch with over center spring removed.
Rear-axle- 8 3/4 with 489 Suregrip lsd 4.10 or 3.23 center sections, Moser axles.

 

Suspension
1.09" Torsion Bars (Very Stiff, have stock 0.87 bars)
1.125" front anti-roll bar with frame mounts moved outboard to increase effectiveness.
Bilstein shocks

Polygraphite suspension bushings
Sliced front control arm bushings to increase caster.
Stock type rear leafs
0.5" adjustable rear anti-roll bar

Traction bars to eliminate wheel hop.
Welded in frame connectors.

2.7 degrees front camber

Car looks great.. sounds like you got the cuda handling pretty good.. nice work..I have the 408 as well from Hughes I love it.. lot more power then my old 318.. haven't taken it to the track yet.. but will soon.
