Initial results look pretty good for the lasr autocross of the season (11/7/05).
While I did not write down any times, I was within about 4
seconds of the person who was 1/10th off of FTD at the
last event, and he was the FTD before I left. I didn't
catch the BMT times, but I must have moved up. Guess
I'll have to wait for the results to be published.
It was difficult to get any heat in the tires since it
was only 50 degrees or so. I ran the R25 compound on
the rear and R45 on the front, I suffered from pretty
bad oversteer, altough I nver did loop it out - I did
lower the front for this event, could this be it?
I had real bad wheel hop off the line, I really need
to do somthing about this over the winter.
1. The frame side Z bar pivot nut stripped out but
held on there and never popped off, although the
clutch pedal did drop down a few inches.
2. Leaking anti-freeze from the back of the block
3. 4.10 3rd member leaking oil due to the bonehead
that installed it earlier in the week forgetting to
check/clean/add sealant to the mating surface.
4. Dead intake lifter on #2
5. Lost wiper knob during event - haven't found it
