This is my 1989 Pontiac Firebird formula, i just got it on the 23rd, so its pretty new to me, was supposed to be a christmas gift, but i got it 2 days early...anyway as of right now the condition is pretty bad, but its still a nice car.Under the hood is a fuel injected 305 5 liter v8 with aprox.200 horsepower and 180k miles on it, which is a killer. And i got the t-tops which will be nice when it warms up.The car has coutless problems, i havent had a chance to check out it all, but so far i found:cracked spolier, headlights dont close down, torn seats, scratches, chipped paint, broken heat, loose shifter, the hatch doesnt stay open, or close sometimes, and the hood doesnt open properly...thats just a few for now.Ill be restoring it slowly, after some time and money it should be a damn nice car.The car is stock as far as i know, here are some pictures the morning i got it...

Nice car man, hope the restoration goes well... here are some tips ive learned, looks always go second, who cares if a car looks nice if it cant go anywhere! =) also, if you get a new motor, put headers on it while its out, or you will kick yourself later, trust me, i did this. If you dont do it then, you might as well pull the motor again to put them in. and save the $ on the seat covers unless you are doing osmething else to your interior to match, or else it will look lke you are just hiding something...When i had pop-up headlighs in my car, i had to rewire them, also google around and try to find pages on it (i did) BEFORE you take the motor apart, if thats the problem, or you are going to take them apart and see spings shoot out and go.. uhhh woops.... hahha, anywyas, i hope i helped, come check out my Trans AM if you want.
