For sale January 2005 my one-owner Sterling 827 SLi.
Mileage 114,140
Odometer 87,140
Difference about 27,000 is because original odo failed and was replaced under warrenty in 1992.

A complete service record is attached. Engine and drive train are excellent. Brakes are excellent. Body is poor because it spent its first 3 years in Cleveland before I stored it from 1993-1998 when I had company cars (except occasional runs to charge battery, etc.). It was again driven in the Cleveland area beginning in 1999 until we moved to Virginia in the fall of 2002.

Corrosion related problems are beginning to show up in the past few years:
- sun roof electrical contacts, I can no longer open it
- cables for hood and hatchback latches are now stuck -- latches are OK by key and manually
- front window regulators are worn down, so that I open them only 1/2 way or the windows drop off the tracks. I then have to pull them up and onto the track.
- power steering fluid was lost in 2004 when a steel tube rusted. It drives OK without power steering, but this is issue for the next state inspection.
- A/C no longer used, since I do not want to recharge with HFC type freon.

wow! in States this must be very rare ride! i also have Sterling 827 but form '94. And electrical problems too:( Power mirrors, windows and sunroof stopped working just recently. I didn't fix it yet but the problem most probably is due to dry joints under the fusebox plate. more info on this website: http://www.rover800.org.uk/index.php?f=data_home&a=3 cheers!
