I bought this car a few months ago and it's the one I've always wanted. Here's some info:

- It's an original 1980 Y84 Special Edition Trans AM

- It has the 4.9L 301 4bbl V8...matching #'s.

- It has 86,000 original KM's.

- Has had one paint job 9 yrs ago

- The transmission was professionally rebuilt 7 yrs ago.

I don't have any pics of the engine at the moment because the car is in storage (yes, I'm CANADIAN!).

Check it out!

Nice looking T/A. Once I have a house and more importantly a garage of my own, I'm going to start looking for an '80 T/A to restore to go next to my '02 WS6. For the decals check out Pheonix Graphix (they make exact replicas of the decal sets) and for restoration parts try Year One or Classic Industries, both have lots of great restoration parts.
