When I came out here to NV to go to UNR, transportation came in the form of a 1990 Toyota Corolla GT-S. Not a bad car, but with 217,000 miles it was on its last leg. One day, on the way to school, it started getting hot. Going home, it got hotter, and didn't quite make it halfway there. Finally stopped because the distributor cap melted, and fell off. Later found out that the head was cracked, and the car was hauled to the junkyard. Looking to spend less than five grand, I began searching for new transportation, and ended up with my eclipse (slightly over the spending limit, but thats what loans are for).
This is a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, in Steel Blue (thats STEEL blue, not BABY blue). It came with the premium sound and a sunroof, plus the sixteen inch aluminum rims. Got a 2.4 4 cylinder thats by far better than any of my previous cars (before the Corolla, there was an 87 Celica, and a 98 ZX2(go to member page 694180, its now my brother's car, and it looked much better when I had it)). While the 4 cylinder aint gonna out run a vette, it'll smoke a 6 cylinder mustang or camaro. Plus, it gets killer mileage (good when your broke).

I love this interior. Its black and midnight blue with grey highlights on the doors and gauges. Looks strange on most cars, but goes perfect with this color. Only thing I dont like is the tan headliner (hoping to change it soon).
Mod Wishlist-
Too many ideas, and too little money. Hopefully, in the near future, it'll get a short shifter, subs, redone headliner, halogen bulbs, and maybe a grill kit.
Thanks for checking out the car, sign my guestbook and i'll check yours out (unless its a VW or a civic, then i'll check out your dressed up go cart).
