LAST MODIFICATION (#14)
Added new Amplifiers JL Audio 500/1 and JL Audio 300/4 to replace the Kenwood Amplifier. Also added the JL Audio bass control unit to adjust the 20 Hz range on the 500.1 sub amp
13. Moved the amplifiers from under the seat to the back wall of the cab. Fabbed up a fake rear wall and added the amplifiers so that the stock wall didn't have to be marked up. Also recessed the Modded X-box in-between the two amps so that I can listen to all of my Mp3's and Video Concert Footage from the 350 gig Hard Drive.
12. Added a Polished Cold Air intake with a over-sized K&N Air Filter
11. Decided to shave the mirrors on the Colly - Took off the stock mirrors and cut up some smoked plexiglass and made some mounting brackets to fit in side the doors and then screwed them on. I painted them after first mounting them cause you could still see the yellow paint through the plexiglass. I have to put some silicone or foam tape on the inside of the plexiglass to make sure there is no leaking. Put some smaller Convex mirrors on the inside of the door for changing lanes
10. Debadged the Exterior for that nice clean look and had the truck professionally polished and sealed for anti-fading protection. Removed the front License Plate as well as the antenna
9. Lowering kit (part#181) for the Colorado Belltech 2" front spring and 3" rear block w/active nitro drop shocks and also ordered 2" rear block(part # 6110) as well to fit the ZQ8 suspension). Lowered the colorado 1.25" up front and 2" in the rear.
8. Added Blue Exterior LED Lights (THANKS TO LV2KRUZ) to the underside of the truck and Blue control switch panel underneath the IVA-D300 for control of all functions of the stereo and LED strips and future MODS to come
7. Tonneau cover and Bed Rug - COMPLETED October 22, 2005
Have been searching for a tonneau cover for over 1 year now - no one makes one for the Xtreme. Everyone has to remove the spoiler in order for it to work. I know it can work with the Spoiler and I built a prototype to prove it.
6. Changed over to AMSOIL racing Syntheric Engine Fluid (15,000 kms)- COMPLETED July 14, 2005
5. Replaced all of the interior lights with blue tinted bulbs to match the Alpine Head Unit - COMPLETED June 6, 2005
