Just finished Priming the car this evening! Ed from Randig Towing helped sand and shoot the car.
After my 84 Grand Prix was stolen and a few dead ends on replacement cars, we came up with a crazy plan to install a 2.8 back in the car just to get on the road. Rain and Hills suck for engine swaps. Thanks to everyone who helped out! 7000+ RPM is bad for your motor.
Welcome to Red Neck Engineering Country! Replacement motor had the lifters rattled to death by my friend Jason many years ago, but ended up being owned by another club owner and then Ed bought it for his 3800 swap. He was kind enough to donate the 82' 2.8 HO engine for this project.
Bought full set of Detroit Gaskets, timing set, harmonic balancer, and misc. parts to help finish the engine conversion using my MPFI 2.8 engine.

Hi there I own a website about the front wheel X-Cars from 1980 to 1985. The site is www.chevycitationforever.net. has information about swaps to technical information and has a forum and online repair manuals. Go check it out... Sly

Nice ride! Citation were good cars back in the days, don't see too many out here anymore like I did. when I was in 8th grade in 00', one of my teachers had a brown standard one, i can tell it was standard, it had the original hubcaps on it. You should try to see if you can get a X-11 decal on the side for it. Like that old school sony deck, cool! Keep me posted! Check out my ride and vote!!
