To start off 2007 I installed a cat-back 2.5" DynoMax exhaust kit from SummitRacing. The kit I purchase was #WLK-17370 which was the wrong kit for my truck. In doing so it wasn't a direct bolt-on replacement. Instead I should have gotten kit #WLK-17383. Regardless, I made the wrong kit fit and you can't tell it wasn't designed for my truck.
The stock pipe after the cat-converter, luckily I didn't have to change this pipe considering it was the wrong kit I purchased

The same pipe where it goes into the inlet of the muffler

After the muffler into the tial pipe

Comparison between the old and new
You can see how my exhaust was created like Frankenstein, pieces welded together

After removing the muffler, the inlet pipe of the muffler had seperated from the muffler. As you can see my muffler was in horrible shape. I used a air chiesel to remove the piece that remained.
Since I purchase the wrong kit, one of the things I had to deal with was that the muffler outlet and tailpipe inlet was the same diameter. I rented a tailpipe expander which was worthless and didn't work, so don't waste your time and money with this tool. I took the two pieces to a muffler shop and they expanded the pipe for me, free of charge.
I decided to splurge a little and buy stainless steel band clamps. Wouldn't you agree it looks a lot better compared to the traditional u-bolts?

Finally the complete kit installed

The inlet for the stock cat-converter

Even though I'm not planning on laying frame, it's good to know this is the lowest part of my exhaust which is enough ground clearance for a 5/6 drop
