As of Dec 13th 2007 the 93 S10 you see before you have been sold. It has been a joyful 3yrs and I hope the new owner has many more joyful years to come. Thanks Randall.

One last picture at the home of where the truck was droped off

Candiman_93se's 1993 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup

1993 Chevy S-10, 2.8L V6, 5 spd with AC. Unkown true mileage due to broken odometer at time of purchase.

I purchase this truck in Nov 2004 because I was getting tired of hauling all types of shit in my other two cars, especially home improvement stuff. Besides, doesn't every man wants to have his own truck someday?

Your basic suspension and cosmetic will be in the works, everything else will be stock. Just as long as the mod bug doesn't bite :)

Before I purchase the truck I knew there was water in the oil and after doing a little search I've come to learn it's a very common problem for the intake manifold gasket to leak on the 2.8L. So if you're in Charlotte NC with a busted intake manifold gasket, my labor rate is cheap :)

Here's a running tally
$1000 for truck
$65 head gasket kit
$20 rear glass
$20 4x4 black fender trims
$5 Haynes service manual
$40 weld and grind intake manifold
$25 misc. eng repair items, gasket, plugs, etc.
$350 2003 Xtreme wheels and tires -removed and installed on my 91-
$23 oil pressure sensor
$22 rear wheel cylinders(2)
$48 clutch slave cylinder
$45 cutch master cylinder
$24 MAP sensor
$15 front brake pads
$30 front brake hose(2)
$25 heater core and hoses

***When it came to removing the heater core, I give all credit to this site listed below. Some might say you have to take out the entire dash to get to the core, but following the direction on this site will save you the headache. Take your time pulling out the heater core cover and you will not crack yours like I did mine, nothing a little JB Weld couldn't fix***

Click here for the simpliest explanation on heater core removal without taking apart the entire dash

$20 upper and lower radiator hose
$20 high pressure P/S hose
$0 instrument cluster from a 91 S10/Blazer (free)
$20 P/S pump
$12 delay wiper motor
$10 steering wheel from a 93 Cavalier
$20 serpentine belt
$20 steering box
$56 tilt steering column with delay wiper feature

Click here for a good website on how to disassemble and repair a tilt column

$5 left door weather striping
$44 water pump
$100 3" drop leafs
$165 Lebra snapless soft tonneau cover (plus S&H)
$150 2" drop spindles
$20 Lund tail gate spoiler (plus S&H)
$80 Hellwig (HEL7619) rear swar bar -never installed - will be installed on 91-
$25 3" drop blocks
$65 3" Belltech (#4225) drop coils
$45 33mm front sway bar from a 96 4dr Blazer
$75 Premium Duralast gold battery -removed and installed battery in 91-
$150 Pacesetter header -never installed - was intended for 3.4-
$112 1" wheel spacers(4) -removed when xTreme wheels were installed-
$20 2.5" stainless steel exhaust band clamps(2)
$45 Pontiac Fiero GT valve covers -intended for 3.4 rebuild-
$125 DynoMax 2.5" cat-back exhaust kit (Summit #WLK-17383)
$60 rear air shocks -removed and installed on 91-
$10 Suicide Doors bolt in C-notch (thanks Alex33) -installed on 91-
$20 JTR axle set back plates
$100 Belltech (BEL-10003) front shocks -removed and installed on 91-
$80 Autozone clutch kit
$20 rear main seal
$10 coil spring spacer (to correct infamous Chevy Lean)

Free labor, priceless :)
