History/About
We understand the focus of clubs being families and respect that notion, but our groups main purpose is to be the best team worldwide. The founders of Groundwerks International are 5 individuals of different races, backgrounds and ages. Lets refer to these same 5 individuals as the Foundation. The foundation started as a group that shared ideas and assisted one another mentally and physically. The foundation all met at the world-renowned shop called Team Prototype and everyday brainstormed off each others different ideologies. As time progressed, these same 5 of different teams formed great friendships, which was a bonus to the mutual understanding of one another. Despite the different styles and ages between one another, the foundation accepted each others canvases and further contributed to the melting pot spewing brilliant thoughts and ideas running rampant.
In September 2004 a new team arises, ''Groundwerks International.''
The term ''Groundwork'' in the dictionary is defined as ''the foundation, base, or basis'' of an undertaking and the word International is the domain of our foundation.
We are special individuals who admire each others different styles. We frown on hate and ignorance and try to override all that is negative with our intelligence and creativity. Our vehicles are our canvases, our brains are our paintbrushes, our paint is our modifications and our professors our comrades. Together we intend to fabricate a gallery of rolling masterpieces.
Accomplishments
Between the networks of 11 members, we have pulled over 70 magazine features, DVD appearances and TV cameos worldwide, not to mention dozens of 1st place trophies.
