Iwhen I bought it I was a little scared due to the looks of the mechanics, the entire engine was covered in a thick film of oil. I bought it because the body was clean… I realy had no intention on keeping the stock motor. On the first day I had it I got it up and running with a battery and minor tune with new bosch plugs and red neuspeed ignition wires. The motor ran great, I was a happy camper that day… the next day I crashed my red 8v when some drunk lady pulled out in front of me… I parked the car and did minor work for about 2 months (cleaning vacuuming detailing buffing). Then I put the car on stands in the garage for the winter where the real work began. So far I have installed:
-new rotors and pads up front and pads in the rear
-new master cylinder
-4 new calipers
-drivers side drive shaft, cv, and cv boots
-new battery
-k&n drop in filter… soon to add a custom cai/ramair setup
-used techtonics headers
-gutted catalatic
-autotech exhaust
-momo knob
-new thermostat
-ALL new fluids
-15” SSR integral knockoffs (konig villians) with nt450’s
(-new Goodyear eagle’s for the teardrops… costed more than the nt450’s!
-replaced front airdam
-removed a large dent in rear ¼
-installed my stereo:
pioneer 3 way 6x9's
clairon 4X6's
pioneer headunit
rockford punchZ 10"
250X1 mosfet amp
-Removed 20 lbs worth of ac stuff
-wired in 10 intearior neons, all blue
-started dodge dynasy headlight conversion
My future plans will incude a dodge dynasty headlight conversion, tt fuel enrichment module, euro intake cam, front upper stress bar and beefy rear antiroll bar. In the distant future I will go all out with a set of wietec coilovers and maybe a 9A 16v conversion. I’m 17 and work at a skate park and referee soccer games, the $$ is realy tight. Wish me luck.
