saturn6's 2001 Saturn L-Series

Hello everyone this is my 2001 L300 well for that year its the Ls2. I've had her for alittle over a year and is my first car and I've enjoyed every minute of it. In the course of year I've did some minor tweaks like the pic you see above I painted my cluster to match my body color so it came out pretty good.

Heres my shift knob that I actually got at advance auto for about 15 bucks. It gave the inside a sportier look and now all I need is to get rid of the woodgrain and istall the aluminum kit and I'll be happy.

saturn6's 2001 Saturn L-Series This here is my bazooka ela 500.1 amp powering my subs. Its 700 watts max and I'm running 500rms at 2ohms. In the pic it was running at 350rms at 4 ohms until I surfed the web and rewired it. I did the installation myself and I'm happy with it so far.

saturn6's 2001 Saturn L-Series These are the subs that my bazooka power. They are xplod 12s enclosed in a probend bandpass box. This system is so powerful it will make your ears bleed haha just kidding but it sounds pretty good. My hu is actually the factory cd/cassette player and I plan to upgrade down the road but don't know what I will get.

saturn6's 2001 Saturn L-Series Look at that face isn't she sexy haha. I black housed the headlights and they are back with silverstar bulbs, the foglamps are back with 50watt bulbs a lot better than the stock 27watt. To spice up the front alittle more I installed mesh in the lower grill.

saturn6's 2001 Saturn L-Series Here is just another front pic of the car it was running and the drl's were on. I don't have pics with my fogs and headlights on but it has a nice HID look in the day and night. I'm poor I can't afford real HID's :(.

Heres the rear of my ride as u can see thats no factory muffler. Its a magnaflow xl with a 3inch tip. It has a nice deep burble at idle and a nice hum at highway speeds. It was pretty neet when I shaved the V6 emblem I would say it was a 4 cyl hehe. I put it back on and relocated it because I missed it back there.

Heres just another rear angle of my ride.

The final pic heres the side angle of my baby. The tint is 50 front and 35 rear I know thats not dark dark but still looks pretty dark in late evening and night. I want to go darker but VA laws suck.

But wait theres more haha this is my long time g/f she has been dyin for me to put up a pic of her. I told her she was my main baby between her and my car but I guess she didn't believe me hehe j/k. Also today is our 2 year anniversary 12/21/04. Hope you all enjoyed my page take care.

Clean ride man. The shift knob and the instrument panel mods are nice. i might have to try those. Any plans for rims and tint? Also, throw the Saturn vinyl stickers on the back. Blue or white wouls look nice.
