Update 03/01/09: Here is my little 1987 Dodge Omni America. It's a great little car that has decent gas mileage, and pretty good power. It has a pretty stock 2.2 liter engine with an automatic transmission. As of this writing it has 96,505 miles on the odometer.

I originally received the car as a birthday gift from my grandfather in 2002. He bought the car when it was new from a local dealership. He actually took really good care of it. It has always been in a garage, fairly clean, and well kept up on maintenance. Even today, it only runs premium gasoline, Mobil 1 Synthetic 5W-30 oil with a premium filter, and Bosch +2 spark plugs (replaceing the original Chamion copper from stock). I have always used the best possible (within reason) replacements parts when necessary. Some items, such as the radiator and overflow tank, grill and headlight bezels, are NOS.

I have done a small amout of bodywork on the car. The front passenger fender, and rear driver's fender have been repaired and repainted (my grandfater's accidents), I painted the bumpers gloss black (Chrysler gloss black), and repainted the door posts (Chrysler semi-gloss black). All other paint is original factory paint from June 23, 1986.

Thanks for looking at my car. I hope you liked it, and I'll try to update more often. You can see more of Old Blue at:
