Serenity is a late 81 DeLorean DMC-12 with grey interior and has only 7,100 miles on it. The dash is also autographed by John Z. DeLorean. I have been a big fan of the car even before the Back to the Future movies. One of my dads friends had a neighbor that had one and that was the first time I had ever saw one. It was love at first site. Several years later when I was in high school I started my search for one. I found several but they were in poor shape or too pricy. I did find one that was priced just right but when I got into looking for car insurance for it at my age of 16 at that time the price was outragous! I could afford the car but not the insurance. After that I had pretty much put it on the back burner until a couple of years after high school. I had the bug and after all that time I still had it for the DeLorean. I went searching again and by chance found one that a guy had in storage for the past 19-20 years. It only had 5300 miles on it and was stored in a heated garage. I test drove it, made him an offer and a week later he called me and brought it down from Columbus to Dayton for me. Finally my dream had come true, I had my own DeLorean. It was in perfect shape but sitting for that long there had to be several things re-done and fixed as any DeLorean owner knows. It even still had the original tires on it. That was the first thing to replace. It is a constant thing to keep upgrading and detailing our DMCs but it is not only a hobby but a passion, and I for one love every minute of it.

Here is a picture of my dash I got John DeLorean to autograph for me.
