Hi, i am from Bloemfontein, South Africa and started a new project with my latest play thing, an Audi S2. I bought this car in Johannesburg where it was lying on its belly under a tree for a period of time.
It did not have wheels on also, and it was pretty much in a bad state when i got it, luckely the price was right.
The boot was full of spares, then started picking up the pieces to start the puzzel. It was quite a job, for only 40 of these cars were imported to SA.
As you can see here is a pic of the engine bay after i cleaned it and had some chrome done, not finished yet, have to do some paint work and powdercoating.
Seems the car was stripped apart , and not assembled completely, i found some spares under the carpet and under the center console. A LOT of things where missing and still are, covers,interior stuff, power steering pipes, a/c pipes and fittings, and the list goes on.
Busy with the cleaning process, the leaves and flowers of the tree it was standing under had to be buffed off.
