This site is intended to follow and highlight the career of this wonderful racecar. You can read current news about the cars, get insight from the men behind the wheel, and even hear from Dave Klym, the man who created the cars. You can also see a photo gallery from various events along with photos showing the evolution of the cars through time.

Below you will find the latest news about FABCAR Engineering and Coyote racecars (mostly from Grand-Am races I attend).

2010 Grand-Am coverage update:
I WILL be covering the 2010 Grand-Am Rolex series. However... that coverage will not start at the Rolex 24. For only the second time since 1988 I will NOT be attending the 24. The race is important to me but it takes a back seat to the birth of my third child.... which is due in a matter oof days.... so check back later as I plan on attending the Glen 6 Hour, the NJMP race, and maybe even LRP!

Sahlen's Six Hours at the Glen Coverage:
The SoD Coyote started the race in 12th position and moved up into the top 10 during the first hour of competition before dropping out after losing drive.

Here is a link to the video showing Guy Cosmo talking about the new Coyote chassis that tested at the Glen after the race:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ucgOZ7jQX8. Here is another link showing Cosmo during qualifying at the Glen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3wXqdgs1SQ

Spirit of Daytona Coyote leads Verizon Wireless 250 at NJMP
The SoD Coyote #09, driven by Guy Cosmo led the Verizon Wireless 250 at NJMP. Guy took the lead early in the race in the heavy rain and held it for a few laps over Scott Pruett and the CGR Riley.

Great work by the Cheever Racing 16 car allowed them to lead a few laps during the race but an engine failure took them out of contention. The Spirit of Daytona 09 car continued their awesome run of solid finishes even with limited on track experience on this still fairly new car. They quailfied 7th, ran as high as the top 5, and finished 11th. The 09 car's usual drivers were joined by DP ace Terry Borcheller.
