It's a Gem!

It's not very common to see DA model Integras in Malaysia these days. Mine came with a rather interesting story.
Firstly, it's a 1989 JDM Honda Integra XSi. The DA8 model number indicates that it has four doors. The XSi part of the model name suggests that it is the highest spec'd model in the Integra range.
Unlike most JDM cars in this country, I actually know the person who bought it in Japan. This friend of mine studied in Japan and brought it back upon completing his studies and a few years of work in Japan.

The car was registered in Malaysia in 1997 as a result. So that was what happened. As my friend outgrew this car, he sold it to me. I gladly bought it as I knew the complete history of the car. Completely straight body. Nothing worse than a few dents. Perfect car to restore!

The B16A was in it's first generation guise, with the DA models being the first cars to receive this wonderful engine.
