Week of march 27th, 2005:
Basically got a wild hair up me arse, went and bought a can of krylon, some sandpaper, and did my wheels up primered black. Then I painted the decklid primer black. April 1st I purchased an EMPI performance exhaust system, and after around 7 strenuous hours of removal, modifying stock rear apron, and install...she looks great, and sounds even better...and a huge increase in hp ^_^
Pictures soon...
Week of April 4th:
Soooooo... As I'm waiting to get my picture CD of the last 4 day's solid work, I'll give a brief rundown of what I've done to her.
tore off hood, decklid, fenders and running boards, repaired all body damage, shaved body trim off, cured all body rot issues (even at the end of the rain gutters :O ) got rid of the euro blades in exchange for some gloss black t-bars. got all new lighting seals and fender beading, replaced all light bulbs and fuses, tried to cut my thumb in half and ended up in the hospital with 4 stitches, and overall...painted her flat primer black.
Tomorrow I'm rebuilding the solex carb, installing some chrome engine tin, and installing my "new" (wrecking yard find) door panels with my blaupunkt 6 1/2s (I couldn't justify cutting into my door panels, they're *immaculate*)
I'll upload the pictures as soon as I get the CD tomorrow, and probably some more after I detail the beast

(new)Old bumpers and the old pea shooter exhaust
EMPI, Krylon, and Bondo...representin

My mom has a great sense of humor

Basically did all of the sanding with a 4 1/2 inch orbital sander and by hand...took forever.
Shaved all the "chrome" body moulding off and smoothed the holes out with bondo, cured some body rot issues, and fixed a few really dents and even a crease in my fenders with some body dollies and hammers. About 40 hours of work before I even popped a can of Krylon open -whew-
