Hi, If you want to put in a V6 a Ford might work pretty well. They are narrow. You need something narrow to fit between the the upper controll arms. You might want look into performance upgrades you can do to the Volvo engine you have. Or you could swap in a b20 fuel injected engine from a early '70s 140. I think they are about 130 hp. About the brakes... I would rebuild the master cyl, hone it out real good and new seals an' all. Also dissasemble the break lines and blow them out with some compressed air, put it all together and bleed em real good. Thanks for checking out my car. Dave

any of you guys know anything about the brake system on a 65' volvo 122s? i need help with the master cylinders setup.
