HERE'S MY RIVI!!!

As promised, I installed a new accel HEI distributor and super coil, I cant believe the difference it made. Took it racin this weekend! even with the open end 2.sumthin dif out back it ran a 10.34 1/8th mile, my cutlass ran 9.40s in the 1/8th and 15.70s in the 1/4.  I gotta run the riv down a 1/4, it feels way better on the top end than my cutlass did! Anyway, here are the vids I promised!

Summer '08,  I repaired some spots that where starting to show by the vinyl top on the 1/4s and on the deck lid, but I decided to clear the whole top half if the car, it turned out great, the enamel that was on there, would buff up great for like 3 weeks, then dull back out.  Now it stays perfect for good! maybe next summer I'll touch up and clear both sides as well.

This is my 1972 riviera boattail
she has the big block buick 455 4bbl, power everything (exc locks), vinyl top, and those bad ass buick rallies!  new tires, had them put on raised white letters out, then had the 1" wide white walls cut in! they look so much better than those skinny whites! the first pic on the top of the page shows the new tires.

above: old skinny white walls, blehhh!

the only thing on the interior as of yet is just a good detailing,

when i bought it the motor didn't run do to a bad carburator, and it just plain looked terrible, so i installed a edelbrock carb and painted it a little,

then after about 8 mo's, the timing chain striped some teeth, but luckily didn't damage anything, so i also replaced that with an edelbrock unit, and while the motor was that far apart i cleaned and painted all that i could, as well as replacing as many parts with new ones as i could afford, all that really helped the appearance of the engine bay as well as the whole car.

I revamped my fuel system a bit with a regulator and new line, I also opened the bottom of my stock air cleaner, to expose to element, still hidden unless you are looking for it!

4. maybe mold in 1971/2 skylark GS hood scoops(pic at bottom--STILL NOT SURE HOW THIS WOULD LOOK)
