chevy1956's 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air

This is my 1956 Chevy BelAir 2-door sedan. I have had it since 1976. It has been restored twice. Once by my dad and I, and again in the mid to late 90s by me and my son (his first complete restoration).

A picture of me and my son in the late 80s. He was about 2 or 3 years old and just about everytime I worked on the 'ol 56, he was right there by my side. Now he has his own 1959 truck and has come a long way with the help of his dad and papa.

My son, mine, and my dad's weekend rides. What can I say, its a family tradition

My '56 was 2Dr Bel Air, 6cyl, 3spd, with a rod sticking out of the block-$150.00. A '68 350 truck engine($50.00)went in and it was rolling again. Sold a month later for $450 and bought a '65 Malibu SS. Still miss the '56. Check my latest '56. Area57
