This is the story of my '87 Porsche 924S

I bought this car in 2003 from a friend who had lost the title. The car ran fine but needed some major problems repaired. After getting a huge estimate, I thought that just sell it since there was no sense in repairing a car that I couldn't legally drive. While I made up my mind on what to do, it sat in a garage for nearly four years.

Notice that the body seams, antenna, and side markers have been removed.
I stripped everything out and installed new seats and fiberglass dash.
Instead of guards red I decided on a Gemballa red.
