The Engine

***************************************

This is a V6, 205hp 3800 Series II motor. It has 230 ft/lbs of torque and has some real get up and go (Horsepower and torque given in the previous sentences are the "stock" values and have been increased). Please note that the strut bar is factory not a custom built one. Cardomain doesn't have a "factory" option for saying it on the side <- so I said it was custom so it would at least be noted over there. Here are some various pictures of the engine:

I finally am posting pictures of the replaced engine. I also painted the strut bar (because they scratched it putting the engine in), I painted the hood spring, got a new battery, and put a new wire from the alternator to the battery on it. Enjoy..

Here are some new pictures of the engine. Its hard to tell from the pictures but I clear-coated every plastic part that I could remove including caps and covers to give it a cleaner appearance. Plus I just think the angles are cool:

Today I painted the plastic cover on the engine where it says V6 and has the lines silver - very hot!

Hey, nice to see your still going strong at the LeSabre. I have a simple intake system on the way and will be getting it on in a week or so. How tough was your fog light system to install wiring wise?
