this is how I found her in an Idaho field.

The floors are really bad after 30 years sitting in a field, I can only afford to replace the r/rear floor as it was a flinstone floor, the rest well get the POR15 treatment as they are just thin. The patch floor I got from Concours parts really!!!!!! sucked!!!!!!! worst I ever saw, I guess they have a really good one for a few $ more.

Stripped and ready to paint (fire wall welded to remove major headache of heater system)
All painted, control arms with new bushings and ball joints installed and new (1975 Torino) disc brake spindles installed, starting to get somewhere Oct 2005
390 Doner engine pulled and ready for cleaning and installation into new home
The old girl is really starting to get somewhere the frnt disc brakes are on, rearend and rear brakes are done, new fuel tank is in, new engine is waiting to go, just need to get new brake and fuel lines made and figure out tire size and she well be back on all four agian
Test fitting the 17x8 torq thrust wheels to make sure everyting clears, I can fit all fingers between rear wheel and fender well, but fronts might be too wide, I well try a tire between 24" and 25" tall first as that might not hit the frame if it dose I guess I'll have to buy 7" wheels for the front.
Finally got the engine and tranny in and all detailed, the Foffy valve covers were a bitch as the holes did not line up.
Another shot of engine in and front 17" whells on,this car is slowly taking shape wish I had more then 1 or two days a month to work on it.
I took off the 17" wheels and put them on my Torino wagon and put 15x8 supremes with 1 1/2 www on the edsel, I need to find time to get this on the road for the summer fun.
