On account I always seem to be arriving at the trail head just as the sun is setting I went ahead and added some extra lights to my rig. These include 3 underbody "snowlights" and 2 forward pointing offroad lights.

Here you can see the front mounted snow light. Its positioned to point just in front of the drivers front tire.

This shows were Ive mounted the side lights, they are tucked up high on top of my sliders and are well protected from any rocks. These I have positioned to shine slightly out past the rear tires.

All and all I would say they do a pretty good job of lighting the underside of the rig, I still do plan to put two more in the rear for back up lights. Also I may add another for the right front tire.

These are my elcheapo Harbor Freight offroad lights. They were only 13 bux or some thing like that so I really wasnt expectin much when I ordered them but Im pretty surprised with them. 1st of all the wiring and switch they came with was of pretty good quality so I went ahead and used them. They came with some stupid looking screen on them so I cut that off to make them look a little better.

As for incab electronics all I have left is my CB, every thing else has been stolen, damn thieves! Right now im working on putting the CB in the ash tray hole, thats why its just laying thier now.

Nothing special just a cheap Realistic
mtnkid82's 1985 Toyota 4Runner Heres the custom mount for my K40. Its a piece of alluminum mud flap cut & bent to fit.

Heres a shot of my homebrew hand throttle. All it is is the shifter from a old junk bike some misc shifter/brake wire, a tensioner and a small hose clamp to hold it on the top of the gas pedal. mtnkid82's 1985 Toyota 4Runner I put this in to keep the RPMs up when airing up and for running air tools ect. Ive also found it makes a decent cruise control. LOL

After getting my OBA up and operating I quickly found it was actually taking longer to air down than to air up, so I decided to add some quick drain valves to my rims.
All they are a drain cocks from Lowes, for air compressors. I drilled and taped holes in the wheels and then screwed these into place. Simple and work VERY well! I am very happy with them. mtnkid82's 1985 Toyota 4Runner
