ncSteve's 1985 Ford Bronco II

This is Nel, my 1985 Bronco II XLT. She came stock with a 2.8L V6, 5-speed transmission, open Dana 28 front and limited-slip 7.5" rear differentials with 3.73 gearing, and 28.5" tires.

Upgrades I've done include a 4.0L V6 and M5OD 5-speed from a 91 Explorer, limited-slip front, 4.10 gears, coil and leaf springs from a Mazda Navajo, a 2" body lift, and 33x9.50 BFG MT tires.

First thing I needed to do when after I acquired her was get a smog certificate. This required an engine rebuild.

ncSteve's 1985 Ford Bronco IIA couple of months later, a jagged cattle guard bit one of her tires near Black Rock Desert, NV.

ncSteve's 1985 Ford Bronco IIAfter receiving a new set of 30" AT tires, a trip up north was in order. This is Nel at full speed on I-90 in Montana.

Looks like you have a lot of tricks up your sleeve when it comes to mods, you clearly spend a lot of time in deep reflection at the junkyard! Who would have think of nabbing an aerostar grille for their bronco II? Anyways nice work on this ride, I am going to be doing up a Bronco II just as soon as I can get find one that screams TAKE ME HOME! Been looking!
