This is Nel, my 1985 Bronco II XLT. She came stock with a 2.8L V6, 5-speed transmission, open Dana 28 front and limited-slip 7.5" rear differentials with 3.73 gearing, and 28.5" tires.
Upgrades I've done include a 4.0L V6 and M5OD 5-speed from a 91 Explorer, limited-slip front, 4.10 gears, coil and leaf springs from a Mazda Navajo, a 2" body lift, and 33x9.50 BFG MT tires.
First thing I needed to do when after I acquired her was get a smog certificate. This required an engine rebuild.
Before and After:

The next logical step was a trip into the mountains to see what she was capable of. Here she is on the way up to the Sierra Buttes.
A couple of months later, a jagged cattle guard bit one of her tires near Black Rock Desert, NV.
After receiving a new set of 30" AT tires, a trip up north was in order. This is Nel at full speed on I-90 in Montana.
And here she is as seen from the top of the Space Needle in Seattle.
