8.8 Ford Axle Swap
Here they are, the pitures of the 8.8 swap so far. I am almost finished, but figured I would get some pictures up so far. I'll add more when I am done, and add captions to each picture. But so far, here is the progress, and a rundown of the following pictures...
Removal of the Dana 35. Destruction of the Dana 35 by removing the 4-link truss. Comparison of the Dana 35 vs. Ford 8.8. Cutting off the 8.8 brackets and cleaning. Welding on the brackets. Evereything welded on, need to paint, run brake lines, then it's time to get it in.
I'll also do a rundown of the cost and what was needed for the swap. I'll tell ya this, I got away with the entire swap for less the 750 bucks! More to come, enjoy for now!
