Flamin out the hood, and PSC Rocker Knockers

Page added 3/18/2005

CrashFireRescue's 1999 Jeep TJWell, I wanted to do a little something different. So, I call my friend Ricky, owner of Inferno Designs, and said, "Hey, lets flame my hood out." He can flame anything. Here he is starting to lay em out.

CrashFireRescue's 1999 Jeep TJHere is the finished layout, all done by hand with 3M 1/8" blue tape.

CrashFireRescue's 1999 Jeep TJAll masked off, and ready to shoot.

CrashFireRescue's 1999 Jeep TJHere is Ricky, shootin on the black base. We used ChromaBase gloss black, nothing fancy, but it goes with the rest of the Jeep.

CrashFireRescue's 1999 Jeep TJAll finished. Cleared and unmasked.

CrashFireRescue's 1999 Jeep TJThis is an overhead shot showing the layout.

CrashFireRescue's 1999 Jeep TJAnd that's it. Now I just have to let it cure, and wetsand and blend it in a bit.

CrashFireRescue's 1999 Jeep TJHere are the PSC Rocker Knockers, finally got them on.

CrashFireRescue's 1999 Jeep TJThese were quite a treat to install. You have to unbolt all the body mounts, jack the body up off the frame, and trim the back 2 center body mounts, because these sandwich between the body mounts and the body. Great coverage though.

CrashFireRescue's 1999 Jeep TJAlso, a little something different. I grabbed a piece of silver vynal from a friends shop, and put a square of it behind the cut out PSC logo, just to set if off and make it stand out a bit more.

More to come soon!
