Here is my '73 LJ Torana S.
Owned it since 1989, and loved every minute of it. A bit like grandpa's axe, I think the diff and fuel tank is still original. Everything else has been replaced or modified. Done all the work myself, excepting paint and major panel work. (floor pans, sills, guard inserts and lower panels, front pillars ........)
Currently running a 202 with mild cam, Stromberg 'WW2' twin barrel downdraught carby, 4 speed, thermo fan. Paint is two pack "Adriatic Torquoise" a Holden colour from the mid 70's. These photo's don't do it justice. Interior customised, GTR dash, sports wheel, customised console.
Handling is courtesy of Boge heavy duty shocks up front and comfort gas in the rear.
