Drag Racing Events
Yes its true! I also try and Drag race this thing, though admittedly better on a curvey course than a straight strip, it doesn't do too bad. I don't have any pictures of my car going down the track as I have to drive it so I'll have my wife take them next time. Completely stock I attained a 16.4 in the 1/4 and I only ran it once. The Speedchannel guys were able to get a 16.1 but of course thats a professional driver at near perfect conditions. Still, its pretty quick!
Here is a picture of my Uncle's Mustang and its engine. It has a 351 Windsor thats pushing over 550HP. His best run to date is 12.13 seconds in the quater. Next is a shot of him racing an EVO. Man was that thing fast, completely stock it ran a 13.8. 
I betcha I could have beat this guy!

Sweet Saleen Mustang, it has numbers but strangly I never saw it run. Must have just paid to get the closer parking!! 
This cool Hummer Golf kart was used to haul around a Pro Top Fuel Dragster.
See they do more than just drag race at these events. One night we saw some sport bikes going at it with stunts such as all gear wheelies, endos, handle bar burnouts, and asphalt surfing.
