UPDATE:I have taken off the flowmaster mufflers and sold them to my friend to use on his 67 Mustang. I went out and bought some Cherry Bomb Turbo's for it for 40 bucks. I'm getting ready to put the car into storage....

This is my first Corvair, a '63 Spyder. I got it from my grandpa 3 years ago. The body is in decent shape, with a little rust on one of the quarters. It is also desparately in need of a new paint job. The interior needs work also, the carpet is all torn up and the dash is cracking. I havent really done a whole lot to the engine. My grandpa put the 164 ci 140 HP in it, instead of the original 145ci 150 HP. I put a Holley 390 4 BBL carn on it, a Pertronix electronic ignition, and some Flowmaster mufflers.
Here is a pic of the 800 dollar rims I bought for it. I love the black rusty look and think it goes good with the rest of the car.
A pic of the back end where the engine belongs.
Here is a pic of "engine compartment", that tire kicks out over 300 HP at the hub. Pretty beastly.

Actually this is the real engine if you didn't figure that out already. The carb is a Holley 390. It needs tuning but it runs fast w/ it. The pic on the right is after I put a Pertronix Electronic Ignition on it and some 8mm Silicone Wires.

Pic of the interior. The Spyder Dash had full instrumentation versus the Monza dashes and other lower end Corvair models.

Should have turned the flash off on the camera, anyhow, this is a pic of the Edelbrock Air/Fuel Meter I put in to help me keep an eye on how the engine is running.
Corvairs are perhaps one of the best cars on the road....other than the Nova (Visit my new Nova site...a link should be in my profile)
