58Type2's 1958 Volkswagen Bus

Have owned this since January of '99. Much work has gone in to it since the last time I was on here, many years ago. Lowered much more, front beam sits 3 1/4" inches from the ground, rear tranny support is at 3 1/2".

Engine is not quite stock, only a 1600cc but I have dual 36mm Dellorto carburetors and Pertronix electronic ignition installed. Soon will have a 2017cc engine with dual 45 Dellortos.

Stereo inside is just a Sony deck with 2-6" 3-ways up front and 2-6x9" behind the seat, Alpine amp, and Sony 10 disc cd-changer as well.

Purple under body neon installed myself, clear acrylic tail light lenses made by me, led tail lights and HID headlights.

Tribals done down the side took four days to do the right side and roughly 8 hours to copy to the left side (did it myself)

Almost all work has been done by me, except the body work from all the cars prone to hit me...and one bicyclist (none my fault)

Suspension work was done by Bugly at Mouse Meat Inc in Tacoma, Wa.

Wheels are early New Beetle stock wheels that I painted the lip a garnet red.

Height at the drip rail behind the door is about 59 1/2"
